92 3.1L Bird
I have a 92 Firebird with the 3.1L. I'm thinking about doing the 3.4L Bottom End swap with the 3.1L intake and adding a T3/T4 turbo. I was wondering if I could run boost with the turbo, without having to tune the ECM. If so, then what is the maximum PSI I can run without tuning? If not then what would be the best ECM swap to do (link to a guide please?). And even then after I do the ECM swap, what is the max PSI I can run without having to rebuild my bottom end every week? In essence, how much abuse can a 3.4L bottom take? Any links to guides that cover the late model 3.1 would be greatly appreciated.
Also, what would be the best performance camshaft, lifters, and rockers to put in an engine for this? Do I need custom push rods or anything like that?
PS: I have a T5 Manual tranny. If I do do this should I get an upgraded clutch? Like a stage 2 or something?
Before you guys tell me to search. I searched, and could not find an exact answer to my question. Thanks!

>__> I've already gone through all the stickies about turbo's. They don't answer my main questions about being able to run boost on a stock ECM tune on a 92 3.1L.
