Is this possible to do?
well..my column im my 2.8 camaro went out, and it brought the key cylinder with it so i cant start the car. its been sitting for like a month with no start...i wanted to know if its possible to bypass the key? if so how? if i stick in the key the cylinder turns but doesnt start. How can i start it? i just want to start it so its not a pain in the *** to start when i put in a new column. Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, your cylinder has a little flat prong coming out of the bottom, and if you look in the column, it goes into a little slot. take out the cylinder, and you can start it with a flathead screwdriver. At least on my 88 bird you can.
