my coolant gets sucked away

yesterday I watched the coolant in the ext.it totally got sucked away like nothing, so I filled it up to the hot-mark when the engine was hot. I also filled the radiator.
This morning the coolant was gone.
no leaks, no coolant under the car, oil o.k.
anybody has an inspiration.
Horst

Sounds really messed up. You must be leaking or venting it somewhere... Check every hose and line fitting. Also, if it were really ugly, and somethign in your radiator went bad, I guess it's technically possible that you're losing it into the tranny. I'd say check all your hoses and stuff thoroughly first.

burning any coolant in your exhaust.. cracked head or blown headgasket, you could be leaking it into your oil or burning it off....
