more new track results....

well I didnt hit 15's, but I picked up an extra 3mph with the 3.73's!

best run before 3.73's:
2.24 60'....16.18@82.6

my runs tonight with the new 3.73's.

60' 330/ 1/8/mph 1/4/mph
run1 2.21 6.57 10.22/67.32 16.09//83.76
run2 2.24 6.65 10.31/67.15 16.18/85.62

I think its wierd I went from 16.18 at 82.6 to 16.09 at 83.76 to 16.18 at 85.62?

SO basically I;m making more power because my mph are better right? I would surely have thought I would have hit 15's tonight, but I think I was getting traction.

yeah, the mph, are an indication of your horsepower, while the time is supposedly showing how well everything is working together. So, congrats on the new hp rating, um, did you do anything to raise it. And, don't worry, i can see that car hitting the 15's pretty quickly.

i was bored and plugged your mph into that old equation, and got something close to 161.65 hp. that's not a bad improvement, but remember, that can go up, or down compared to the weight of yourself, and your car.

Talking with old track guys they all say traction even if it does not look or sound like your slipping needs to be improved.. So I run 235 60 R15's on my car and it helps over hte 225 60R15's.. Try lower control arms and a new panhard rod for improvement and remove the front sway for the track.. I am sure that will make ya run 15.'s

Congrats on the times! You picked up extra speed? I lost a MPH or two with the 3.73 (effective = 3.46), maybe it's time I went for some smaller rear tires to get a true 3.73... or at least for the track, anyway.
