700R4 to T5
700R4 to T5
What all do I need from the other car with the T5 so I can put it in my car? Also, what all do I have to change out of my car? The other car is an 88, so would that make a difference also?

Graeme, you should keep notes of everything you change and write up a tech article for thirdgen.org on it!

I posted this on another board, and apparently there is a tech article on it. It is the first entry in the Tranny section. I would like to see a more detailed article on it though, so, if you get some time after getting the swap done, please do post it!

I did this swap a few months ago with my V8, basicallyu its all the same, the V6 usesa different crossmember than the V8 and like the V8s when doing the swap there is never any mention of the differences in starters.
If you are interested I will send you a tech article with a few notes about the differences between the V8 and V6 cars.
