K&N Filter, A Compcam, 1.5mm roller rockers, headers, higher stall convertor, shift kit, a n aftermarket exhaust, MSD Ignition box, Juice, A Turbo/Super charger, P&P the heads, increased compression rings + pistons, if it's a 2.8 change it to a 3.1, do the free mods, and that's about it. Or you could just get yourself a 3.4 and swap it in...

Hmm, exhaustive AND expensive list. Bang for the buck, first get a full tune up. Plugs, wires, cap and rotor, change ALL fluids, and upgrade wherever possible. (Switch to 8mm wires while you're trading them, go for Delco Rapidfire or Splitfire plugs, Accel or MSD cap and rotor, etc.) Cost? Maybe $50-75.

While you're changing your tranny fluid, hop it up to B&M trickshift fluid, and if you're a little ambitious, put in a B&M shift kit while you're down there. Cost? About $45-50.

Now, modify your airbox to make sure you're getting good flow. Free.

160* thermostat and fan switch, only $10 and some playing around, even better.

Now, for speed mods, The best for under $100 is underdrive pulleys. About $50-75. Then, Dynomax exhaust, about $150-250 installed. By then, you'll be feeling it and loving it.

Under the hood, get some 1.6 ratio roller rockers, and learn a little about your valvetrain putting them in. About $200 there, but I'm close to guessing.

Good luck, and welcome to the boards!
