Can i put a four bbl carb. on my '84 2.8 V-6 camaro? i bought a phat air cleaner but it won't fit my tiny 2 bbl. also, is there an air cleaner made for my car for high performance?
(don't tell me to get an 8 cyl.)
any info on anything for performance for a V-6 would be greatly appreciated.

No, you can't put a 4bbl carb on a 2.8. Beyond that, I'm moving this to the V6 board.

A freind of mine had a small 4 bbl on his 2.8 S10.

I'll try to find the manufacturer.

One thing tho- I don't recall that 4bbl carb conversion being emissions legal. It's not computer controlled, so you'd have to ditch your computer, and the computer-controlled distributor, and etc...

Holley makes a 390 CFM 4 bbl carb. I wouldn't go any bigger than that on a 2.8.
