Valve cover vented into intake...wtf?

I was looking around my engine bay yesterday, when I noticed something that I haven't really noticed before...my passenger side valve cover has a line running from it to the air intake. Is that right??? It doesn't make sense to me. What's the point of having more warm air coming in behind the IAT and MAF sensors. Wouldn't that just mess the Air/Fuel mixtures up a bit? Has anyone done a delete of this thing? TIA for the help

Yeah, it's part of your PCV setup. It's sucking any fumes under your oil covers back into the engine. It does two things- helps the environment. Second is, it prevents pressure build-up, which could cause a leak. There's a way to get rid of it tho...
