Am I going to need roller tip rockers?
I installed some comp cams valve springs, keepers, and retainers on the cylinder heads and noticed the retainer is above the valve where the rocker would touch to open and close. The stamped steel rockers will end up pushing the spring down a little bit before it touches the valve and by then the keepers aren't fully seated because the spring is pushed down leaving the keepers a bit loose. I haven't installed the heads on the block yet since I'm waiting for it to come back from the machine shop but am curious if maybe I just need to get some roller tip rockers to fix the issue.
Edit: Could it be that I'm using 7 degree keepers and 10 degree retainers?
