expert or any help! Code 32 oh God why?

Hey guys i keep getting a code 32. The engine light pops on intermitently and its real anoying. This is a 3.4 HO crate engine in a 86 tbi. Ive checked all the possibilits.
1.EGR circuit.
2.open Map sensor.
Ive replaced all of these and thier coresponding items with new ones and tested "all" the wires from the ecm.
Im stumped please help. Any thoughts are very much aperciated. SSC

86 tBi or TPI (tpi as in MPFI)? Hopefully you mean multiport injection...

32 could also mean your EGR diagnostic switch is busted. This is a switch on the same vacuum line as the EGR. The solenoid gives both the EGR and EGR Diag Switch a vacuum supply. If the EGR diag switch doesn't see the vacuum, it assumes your EGR didn't engage.

The EGR diag is on the opposite side of the ignition coil. It looks like a rectangular box. It's wired to the EGR solenoid permanently with two wires, and has a 4 (i think) wire connector going back to the ECM. Either the switch itself is bad, or the vacuum line between the EGR solenoid and EGR Diag Switch and EGR valve has a crack. This would let vaccuum "disappear" from the system, and in that case, the EGR Diag Switch is working correctly.

Got all that?

Actually TomP, it is tbi "S10-Blazer"
I just also want to through this one out there. What if i put a 160dg thermostat in "like im supposed to with a stage 2 jet chip"
this would make the ecm run in warm up mode and not enable the egr? Is this correct on am i way off base here? I dunno, im willing to try anything short of pulling the light out.

OH no, I had the EXACT same problem w/ my S-10 Blazer and never found what the D@MN problem was. I replaced EVERYTHING. EGR valve, solenoid, and then it stopped, but the problem was still there. I dumped lord knows how much, when I could have been putting it in a firebird.

Well I figuerd out how to kill the code 32.
I grounded the 4 wires in that little box POS
and it killed it. I would usualy come on driving down the street about 2 miles and now it doesent. My girl friend just drove it to the store about 30 minuts ago she said the check engine light did come on briefly about half a block from the house then shut off. I checked the codes 12 12 12 12. drove it and nothing. hope it stayes off. SSC
