do all v6's have a speed limiter? i am looking at a 91 rs with a 3.1 and i was wondering if it had a speed limiter at 115 like my 84 does? thanks.

 

Probably. I just answered your "best eprom" question and, again, you use the same basic system as I do on my SD L98 TPI. I do know that SD TPI cars that did not come with stock 245/50/16s had a "fuel cut-off" set in the eprom ... so yours would be the similar.

And YES, if you were to get into eprom programming, this is a very easy change to make. It is probably one of the first changes people make when they get into eprom burning (if they have the speed limiter) besides altering the temperature they turn their electric fans on/off.
