OK, so, that was a none to sudtle way to tell everyone I'm selling my bird for a measly $650, but forget that, this is seriously tech! I'd rather not have prospective buyers know this one though.
I was removing the fuel injectors, since I was planning on rebuilding the fuel system (before I found my Formula), and they all have these little plastic caps on them.
In short: how important are the plastic caps? If they are important, where can I get new ones?
I kinda broke one of them off on one of the injectors. So, should I put it back together and just not worry about it, or is that bad? I"m not trying to screw anyone with my car, just trying to get rid of it. Let me know guys. Thank!

I bought an extra set off Rich (at http://www.cruzinperformance.com ) when he cleaned & flow-tested my injectors. They're just dust caps to keep the nozzles clean; I'd imagine it's okay to run with them. In fact, we had to do that for the 2.8/2.8 swap I just did.
4 of his pintle caps snapped, and the 2 that didn't would not come off. So we tried pliers- and the last 2 snapped.
I called Pep Boys and talked to a mechanic.. I pretended i bought the Standard kit SK-9 from them (the injector o-rings), told him about the snapped caps, and asked if they carried a kit with the caps. He told me to throw 'em away, they're not important. So my friend's been driving around for a few weeks, nothing major's happened.... otherwise, I think they're a dealer part. You might want to search the tech board or TPI board, I know people have asked about where to get the pintle caps from before.
