Anyone know how hard it would be to put AC in an 85 bird, i thinh it had it once before because there is the bracket and wiring in the engine bay.

Is there anything left of the system? There should be a huge box against the passenger side of the firewall with a vertical opening; that's where the evaporator went. A silver can would be in front of it (accumulator). There'd be a hard steel line on the passenger side's main frame rail, with a two-wire connector going to it; that's the "high pressure" switch. There'd also be the condensor, which is a radiator-looking thing in front of the radiator. (It's what most of us see when we look at our radiators above the air dam... we don't see the radiator, we see the condensor.)

Let's make it simple.
What does the HVAC panel say?
Does it have a position for Air Conditioning on it?

What's the heater box on the passenger side firewall look like? If there's no spot for the vertically-mounted rectangular condensor, then you'll have to change the box out...
