Will be selling the old bird

Am starting to get my old bird setup to sell. Thought i would tell you guys about it first. I can be emailed for pics - warning tho, its been rainy, the car is dirty.

1991 Firebird 3.1L
T-tops
Has the t/a ground effects and blade type spoiler. Not the wrap around.

Has a baseball size dent in the passenger door. The passenger front nose has a tiny dent (nickle size), the rear passnger side has a dent that can be pushed out, its really not even noticeable however.

The interior: Has a rip in the drivers seat (about 4 inches long) the driverside cup holder on the door is falling off - can be glued however. The rear seat has what appers to be a tar black smudge on both seats - (chalk one up to the family dog.) The carpet needs to be cleaned... It has a CD/AM/FM stereo, stock front speakers and after market rears. A B&M mega shifter was installed - the gear marker doesn't seem to work tho.

Over all: The car starts runs and has been VERY reliable. I have replaced the altinator, given it oil changes, when i got the car a tuneup was put on it, (wires, cap, rotor, plugs, filters, ect..) When i went and replaced the engine with the hipo 3.1 this engine was put on a stand - it is the engine from the factory. 111K miles on the OD. Sorry but the hipo 3.1L went into a 92.

The car has dynomax exhuast, the tranny was reworked to shift harder, a cold air setup w/ K&N filter. I do not know if my friend left the jet chip in it when he took the built engine.

Over all the car is clean - it has potental to be a real looker however i want to get into a G body type with a V8 OR a older firebird with a V8... altho i know the chances are next to nil i will concider trades on a 80 to 85 firebird 305-350 or a old's cutlass 80 to 84 with a V8 or a monte ss 84 to 88...

Now the bad news:

The car needs afew things:

Passenger window is off track and the switch is broken... the moter works however... A new switch and c-clip will fix it.

Driverside headlight motor or gear is not working properly - i have to manually pop the headlight up - the motor does work, i think the gear is striped, as the light will bob up then down then up then down - it will not lock in.

It needs a o-ring on the distrubutor - we never yanked it while the engine was out. I had completely forgot about it. I went to do it one day last year but got caught up in a project for my better half.

The horn - by god i can not seem to find one on the car... I think it is missing - none the less ya push the horn button = no horn.

The hi-beam switch - it feels like it is not attached to the switch - the turn signals work however, but i can not "click" back to get hi-beams. I have read that i can open it up and adjust a rod - heheh i do not think so, the car would be in peices if i attempt to mess with it as i do not have the tools or knowledge to take a columbe apart.

OTHER THEN THAT:

All lights int/ext work. Signals work. Back up lights work. all brake lights and fog lights work. THE A/C WORKS!!!! IT may need a tranny mount too... not sure tho - i don't goose it much, but know they seem to go out ALOT. The engine idles smooth, the tranny shifts clean. I am up for selling it on or by the 15th of june. I get some money in to get me a transportation car by then. I am looking for 2200.00 for it - or you can make me a offer - reasonable offers pls. If ya look at the car values a POS 91 with the same equipment is around 1800 to 2400. I am more then willing to trade for a older V8 car as well, as long as it runs and looks decent Chevy, Pontiac or Fords are fine. I rather whomever comes to pick it up, i do not want to drive hours and hours only to have to take a bus home. I require a 75% down on the agreed price to hold the car. I will hold it for pickup for a month if need be while you arrange PU.

Thanks all...

David
