do NOT true dual your V6!

I heard a true dualed V6 stang and it sounded like a rice bruner. Seriously V8's may sound alot better with duals, but 6's dont. On another board a guy with a 3.4 had his car true dualed and he said it sounded like rice also, so I;d say its safe to assume true dualed 6's sound like A$$.

I posted a while back about a few cars with true dual V6's. I actually got to see the car the other day and it wasnt true dualed, but it did have a hole in the muffler and it sounded mean.

I hear ya man, this guy that lives like 2 blocks from my house has a true dual 96 Rustang, it sounds like pure a$$, just like one of those rice rockets. It has no rumble at all, kinda like a deep toned fart sound.

I like how my old 2.8 used to sound, lets see how the 3.4 does, probably the same huh? Oh well I'm excited!! It would be damn nice to have posi but I'm broke.

Umm forget about the sound look at the LACK of the REQUIRED backpressure...all EFI's need this backpressure and true duals take this away and kiss your valve seals/seats by by. But I would think they would sound like trash consdering we do not have enough CFM coming from our exhaust to make any sound at all...

Past Thirdgen:
86 Trans Am w/ built 355TPI with SLP goodies and too much other stuff to List. One sweet *** car, wish I would have had a good enough Job to pay insurance on three cars so I could keep it, but for a 89 Turbo Trans Am w/ Low miles, I think I made the right choice!
