IF IT'S IN REALLY NICE SHAPE, stock etc, really really nice, grab it.
Those are starting to become collector cars. Get it real low & keep it stock.
It will increase in value in 2002, big time.

it'll depend alot on what type of 305 it is. remember not all of the T/A's are Tuned Port, many of them are Throttle Body. I raced a 91 TBI camaro a few weeks back and we ran dead even, so they're not entirely fast, on the other hand a good 305 TPI mated with some 3.23 gears, will be a nice ride to take out some of them hondas. IT all depends on you, i wouldn't mind picking up a Tuned Port 305 myself, but a TBI i'd leave right where it is.

it is a 305 TPI. all he has done is put in a shift kit. he said even with the high miles it runs really strong still. he said it should run like a high 15 or so?

305 means easy jump to a 350 or a 327 or a 334 (Stroked 305 with a RHS KIT).... If I could get a car as nice as mine, but it was a trans am over a coupe camaro I would consider it. Less miles and nicer than mine I would do it iin a second.
