Factory condition lap time?
I own a 1991 Camaro RS... 3.1 Liter V-6 automatic transmission. Is there anyone out there that would know a 0-60 time for a factory condition Camaro of my type? I'd like to compare mine so I can tell if it's performing how it should before I start any mods. My best 0-60 time in Drive, going into Overdrive at approx. 40 mph, is about 10.4 seconds. Doing 1, 2, then Drive..I can get it down to about 9 seconds. Thanks guys.

WOW 9 seconds is really good considering it took my 1991 3.1 5-speed 10 seconds 0-60

Ok..that's good. Must mean mine's running how it should be. Since you posted your kills, figure I might as well post mine..they're very humorous. (A V-6 kill list is never very impressive though..)
1991 Toyota Camry DX
1998 Chevy Cavalier
Both dinky 4 cyls....but the Cavalier put up a hell of a fight..it can do 0-60 in 10.4! Surprised the crap out of me!

Yeah...the Cavy was a friend's father's car. He had run it pretty hard over the past few days to get it into shape.. Because his dad was a slow driver, the car wasn't used to speed or acceleration, so the best it could do 0-60 in was 14 seconds. He ran it hard for a little, got some crap off the injectors and got it down to like 10.5. The real reason I beat the Cavalier is because it's a 4 cyl...it hesitated while I shot forward. In 2nd gear and past, we were tied flat out. My Camaro has about 500 pounds on the Cavy, so it wasn't surprising to me that it was a close race. The Toyota Camry was just sad..that car has 167,000 on it and looks like it will fall apart at any second.
