You can try this place, too
800-888-8892
Don's Hot Rod, he sells convertors (any size, I got a 2 1/2" in & out) for $60!
Probably the same unit as the Catco. Ask him, he's in Tuscon, AZ
How's the beaches today?
Miss Sunday morning surfing down there (the beach at end of Golden West Blvd)?

Very true... GM's current design of catalytic convertor is very free-flowing as opposed to our 80's (and -definately- the 70's) convertors. In fact, Hot Rod mag did an emissions article a while ago; they ran a big block V8 with no cat, a high-flow cat, and a new GM cat. The GM cat made only a few HP less than the high-flow (2 or 3 HP), but dropped emissions radically!

Your CatCo cat # is part #CTO-4115. That was found thru Summit's site, http://www.summitracing.com . I did a "Manufacturer Search", and on the top of the search screen, I told it department = "Exhaust", section = "catalytic convertors", manufacturer = "catco". A list popped up. I chose our setup, which is a 2.5" inlet, and 2.5" flanged ball outlet. A box popped up- and the cat looks just like my current one (made by PFP, not carried by Summit anymore). I clicked on applications, and there it was, standing out at me- 82-92 Camaro 2.8/3.1 ! If the pic & and description (flanged ball out) is right, this not only the cat for your car, but it's a direct bolt-in (no welding required)!

THAT'S SO FUNNY!
Don is right! Don's Hot Rod Shop 800-888-8892
I got a PFP from him back in the early 90's
This is the one I keep saying he sells for $60
PFP=Performance For Power!
See who has the less price!!
I got the best one I should have gotten back then, too
The 2 1/2" in & out
