HELP! how do i...
everyone has recommended that i drill holes in the air filter boxes where my air filters rest in my 87 V6 Camaro in order to get more air flow.
I need to know where exactly to drill these holes inside the airfilter box, and what size holes should i make, i want to be extra careful when doing this as well as do it right the first time, if someone can make a cheap diagram or picture ofexactly where to drill the holes in the air filter, how many holes, and what size drill bit, that would be fantastic .
i really want to do this soon so please help me

if you drill holes in the sides of the cannister you will bypass your filter here is a good way to get more air.where your filter is located take off the nut just like your going to check the filter. then
youll see that theres only a 2 1/2 inch by
5inch slit that sucks air in from the passengers side headlight. turn the cover upside down and look at the round part that has three slits in it somehow separate the cover from the round cannister cover and throw out the plastic cover i hope u understand what im saying .

im talking about the cover on the top. do u have a canister that runs toward your radiator then to a 16 inch by 5 inch longer box that goes to your intake? just take the cover off your air filter turn it upside down and break the cover and put the round peice back on.you should have three triangles
where the air will go in now.instead of the
2 1/2 by 5 inch gap.
