You just changed the cluster? Yeah, you need to swap sensors out. An "idiot light" panel requires "switches", a "gauges panel" requires "senders".

The water temp switch/sender location (for the dashboard, not computer) is located at the front "outermost" corner of the driver's side head. You might have to move your a/c bracket to see it.

As to the oil pressure sender, that depends on the year of car you have. Either way, it's above the oil filter. 85-86 have two oil pressure sensors; one is for the dash, one is for the fuel-pump backup. Seems around '87, those two sensors were combined into one large unit that does both.

What is ALSO peggin the guage, is this.
You have an open circuit, no resistance.
WHEN ya insert the correct sensor, there will be resistance, creating the reading the gauge will show.
Call 800-995-0296, get a hold of Saul, tell him Karl sent ya. He will sell ya the correct item you need to make the guage read correct!
Saul sells AC Delco stuff CHEAP!
I made a deal for us here.
Call him and try it out!
PS, I have to do this, too! (gauge swap)
