where is it and how hard is it to change myself????

Follow your upper radiator hose to the engine. You have the 'stat under that aluminum cover.
It is not hard to remove, just a little finagling does the trick.
I did mine without removing the upper intake.

Just folow your upper rad hose to where it meets the engine, there will be a little housing there with like 2 bolts, thats the thermostat housing, looking at it you can tell if you wanna do it or not, i'm gonna do mine when i replace the water pump... Have fun..

It's not that bad to change. It looks really hard to get your wrench in there but with a socket extension and universal socket it can be changed in like 10 min. My first time changing mine it took like 20 min.

make sure you dont tighten the bolts to much they break right off if over tighten..dont forget to seal it with something so it doesn't leak
