drove a firebird LT1 today
I was at work doing tires and other bs. When I grab the next ticket I see its a firbeird, so I go out and start it up, VRROOOMMMM
its a V8. So I take it out for a "test drive" and take up up to about 4500 rpm's. Pretty fun. It was pretty fast, but the thing I really liked about the engines performance was the fact that you only had to rev to about 2500 rpm's then get it moving pretty good. I LOVE TORQUE! I started thinking about my car and how you have to rev it out to get moving. DAMN I want an LT1

That is what is real pleasant about my 3.4. TORQUE! 70 MPH in a blink on the freeway, no hard breathing!
The 2.8 was breathing hard doing the same thing!

they only wanted $9900 for it, but it needed some body work...........oh yeah it only had an L98, not an LT-1 (hope i didnt upset anyone IROC5.7TPI in particular)
it was quasar blue and had a 6 speed though
i'm still trying to figure out if its worth the work
