whats up with this?

When I drive my SC up a hill the car doesnt want to pull it,the motor jumps back and fourth going up a hill at 60 and slows to 25 or 30 mph.Someone told me that it could be my kickdown in the tranny but i not sure.Since I live down in Arkansas where hills are abundant I really need help on this or I cant drive my baby.

What do you mean by "motor jumps back and forth"? RPM's raise & lower, or chugs, or what?

If its not the RPM bumpin up n down you could have a problem with your tranny.Basically just problem with changing gears at the wrong time maybe.
