Strut Tower Brace

Of all the STB's on the market, which one will fit an 89 Firebird 2.8? None of the literature specifies our cars, and the people on the other end of the phone lines usually stick to this. I know 95% of 305/350 F-body stuff works for the V6, so one of the should too. Anyone have one?

Lots of TLC

from previous discussions we've had its been determined that it all depends on engine height. is the 2.8/3.1 a taller engine than the 305 or 350??? it basically comes down to someone buying one and trying it. i like the way hotchkiss' brace looks but don't know if it will fit....later in the winter i may buy one and see what happens....you just have to try it unless someone knows anything about engine heights...

The TPI should fit, but you can go the carb'd version to make sure. I know we have to be below those huge intake cleaners...
