hopefully you guys can help me.
i was driving down the street and the car stopped puttered and it died. i tried to turn it on and it wouldnt. put it in park and tried to restart and the ignition got stuck and wouldnt move. so i sat with a dead car in the middle of the turning lane for about 5 minutes until i heard my ignition pop out. it turned on but struggled to get into the gas station like 100 ft away.
i recently got a engine rebuild and also a transmission rebuild. one thing i noticed before it stopped was that the engine sounded funny. it sounded like the fan when it rubs on the plastic but louder. it came from the engine itself. maybe a valve?

well it turned off on me again on the way home but it restarted back easily. on the way home i turned off radio to listen to the car and i heard my fuel pump louder than usual. a loud weezy sound. bad fuel pump?? also it started to back fire but i recently had my timing fixed (bout 2 months ago)

hopefully this is enough info and maybe you guys could help me. really need the car back to running order soon since im a student and its my only accessible vehicle. if you need more info please feel free to post. thanks guys -Aaron
