I was under the car the other day and realized that i had a nice dent in my oil pan right by the opening... no whole or anything but it looks as if somtin chewed it up... No sign of it leaking tho.. but it looks damn ugly ... should i get a new one?... if so ... wat options do i have... anything fun ... chrome or somtin ... i know i know... no need chrome oil pan... yadda yadda...

If it's not leaking I wouldn't worry about it.What I mean is,you didn't see it until you crawled under there. So who else would be crawling around under your car
Besides,it wouldn't be fun to lift the motor up just to change an oil pan.

I got a new oil pan and gasket from the GM dealership a few weeks ago, but only because my old oil pan was cracked and puking oil, the one I got has a nice shiny gloss black coat. when i saw them take the old one off I was like damn that was nasty lolol but to make a long story short it cost about 143.00 for an oil pan and gasket fromt he dealership

Well if you do a lot of racing you can accauly get an after market that can old about an extra 1/2 to 1 quart of oil. This helps ensure that everything is getting enough oil.

Allthough if it doesn't leak I wouldn't bother it. Anytime you have to pull the enging you risk ending up with a bigger problem!
