Crane Cam and lifters worth it?

I was reading recent posts and I noticed that poeple weresaying getting the Crane Cam and lifters were the best thing t od. What is wrong with a superchip though?

This is from my understanding, if I am wrong someone please correct me.

Superchips work well only if modifications have already been done such as a better breathing exhaust, headers, K&N, Cam, etc. So to plug in a chip without any modifications you will not see much of a gain.

Where for relitively close to the same price you can buy Crane cam, and roller rockers, and gain 12-15 hp.

Just remember that inside is where the power is made, a cam is the heart and soul of the engine. The chip is an added bonus for power, once you have modded your car.

what are the specs on the crane cam, i currently have a blue racer that is 206 int. and 214 exh. in my block.

hey i currently have a blue racer cam that is 204 int and 214 exh at .50 lift in my block what are the crane cam specs? if there is i big difference ill probably change.

Get the cam done right and you'll love it. It's a bit expensive, but nothing to build power comes cheap.

ok so then they are the same then. i think crane owns blue racer this might be why. thanks guys, p.s. my cam was only like 120 from jcwhitney lifters included
