are you talking about NOx or the knock sensor? The knock sensor is screwed into the side of the block, usually around the motor mount bracket area. Im pretty sure the 92's didnt have an NOx sensor. They just used the O2 sensor and EGR. BTW, did you swap a 3.8 into your car or is that a typo?

Do you have a check engine light come on ever?

EGR will effect NOx. EGR is there to cool your combustion temperatures. If they get too high, thats when you start creating NOx. But there could be other issues causing your combustion temps to be high and creating excessive NOx. BTW, your EGR valve isnt gonna be cheap.

Pull your codes. Get a paperclip, bend it so the two ends are almost touching. Then put them in the two top right spots on your diagnostic link connector. Your check engine light will flash your codes. it will flash 12, 3 times, then any codes you have each 3 times, then 12 3 times again when all codes have been read. It will flash the light in a group of fast, pause, then a group of fast again. Example X,X....X,X,X would be 25. Let us know what codes you have.
