Help me pick a muffler......

I know I've posted here before about my Exhaust System. I'm getting some kind of dual exhaust done, Maybe "True" Duals, I don't know. Okay heres my delema. I have narrowed my choices down to acouple of different mufflers I maybe will use. I need help making a choice. And yes this is a V6.

(1) Dynomax: Ultra-Flo muffler- I was told that they wouldn't be loud do to the fact that my V6 motor will not push enough air to make them loud.

(2) Flowtech: Purplehornies- better glackpack design, less restrictive then a standard Glasspack muffler.

(3) Flowmaster: 40 Series- Good flow, but tinny sound, but good sound. but then again at sertain rpm it has a nasty persing tone that I hate.

(4) Supertrapp: Tuneble muffler- pretty good sound loud and tuneble so i can get the most perfomance.

Any help will be helpful

Thanks,
Robert

I got the dyno cat back system. I think its great. Its not that loud at idle but when you stomp on it it just comes alive. And it doesn't sound like rice at high rpm.

not to add fuel to the fire but i have a hooker aero-chamber 2.5". not available in catback though. you will need to buy the muffler and then have the pipes done custom. not THAT expensive though. the muffler is only 79.00 and i personally love the sound. then i had stainless steel piping done from the cat-back all welded and madrel bent for like 180, that includes install of muffler. but i really liked the sound of the hooker muffler, and am def not a fan of flowmaster. but to each there own, just another suggestion....i know alot of people here are big on dynomax, never heard one but have heard tons of good reviews and its avaialable in a catback out of the box. all up to you and $$$ i guess. hey, and we aren't far apart, we could always meet up.

this sound file revs to about 4500 rpms. its pops a little in the byte, but pretty much dissappears once its warmed up.

The Ultra-flo is more of a glasspack muffler, it sounds sweet as hell on a v8... and any muffler you get will be quieter than a v8 will, so I don't think that's a valid argument against it. The tips look hot!

But, the Dynomax Super-Turbo catback is what I have...
