Hey guys, i recently picked up an MPFI intake for my firebird and need some help gathering the remaining parts ill need to install it. Aside from whats in the pic i also have the ECM and harness. Besides what will transfer over and connect from my carb setup what hoses, fittings, etc. will i need to get everything installed. Im not a car guru and this is more work than ive done in a while. lol Thanks Also, if these pics show up huge ill fix it ASAP, sometimes that happens even if i resize them.

 

Grab a wire diagram for the ECM/engine, and make sure you have all of the corresponding sensors.

When it comes to swaps, even using factory parts, there will be some "custom" parts needed, especially for the hoses and tubes, unless you order ALL of the tubes and hoses and parts they attach to as well.

Just look at schematics that show where things connect, and make your's connect to the same parts.

 

dont forgte about a fuel pump the mpfi will not run off the carb fuel pump, actually it will prolly idle really bad and thats about all

 

Does anyone know a place online that i can get the schematics? Also, what fuel pump would be recommended for this swap? Thanks
