MPI fuel Injection Harness

Ok guys I am new to this whole forum thing but am hoping someone can help me. My son and I are rebuilding an 86 Chevy Camaro sport with a 2.8l MPI in it. We are now reassembling it and have ran into a snag. We can't remember or figure out how the MPI wiring harness is plugged in. So we do know that there are six fuel injector plugs. However there is a four pole plug on each end of the harness. There is also on one end what looks like another fuel injector plug that is colored blue and a small 2 pole plug. Where do these two plugs go and where do the two four pole plugs go. I guess that would also answer which direction the harness goes in. Sorry to ramble on but this one has us really frustrated because we are so close to starting the motor. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. I could post a pic of the harness if it would help.

Re: MPI fuel Injection Harness

The first on sounds like it goes to the air pump system.
The 2nd one sounds like it goes to the cold start injector.
A couple of picture would help.
Sounds like you guys have a good project going. I like those sport coupes.
