Can someone tell me what this is?

someone told me that this was an egr valve, but when ever i look it up, it always looks a whole lot different from mine. any help?

well a lot people have videos on how to clean egr valves, is there a way to clean this type? im guessing its an electronic egr valve.

and also, people say a vacuum hose is supposed to be connected to it, there is no port hole/connecter place for a vacuum hose to go.

yes, it has a electrical connection, so im guessing it doesnt have a vacuum hose that goes to it? and how do i clean the egr valve since its electrical?

That one is what is called a "digital" EGR valve. It has 3 pintles of different sizes that control the amount of exhaust gasses that are passed through. There is no vacuum signal to this type if EGR valve.

ooh, okay, thank you. now the vacuum lines in it are all messed up and cut and fallin apart, can you tell me what type of lines i would need to use to repair them?

You can buy the hard plastic vacuum lines at most part places. Auto Zone carries them by the pcv area. The rubber lines are behind the parts conter.
