so it took me a day and a half, pliers, hammer, propane torch, wrench, WD40, PB blaster, shirt, a bunch of cuts, and alot of patience but i finally got the old O2 off. and im trying to put the new one on but it doesnt seem to wanna thread on right. is is supposed to go right in easy or does it take some muscle?? i dont wanna mess up the thread and have to take another 2 days to take this one off next time.

Re: new O2 sensor help.
Mine always threaded in nicely. But I also never had a 02 sensor so hard to get out. I know they can be PITA's though when theres 20 years of rust on the pipe.
If you have a big tap/die set you could try and run that iin the threads and clean them up?

Re: new O2 sensor help.
Get a spark plug thread chaser. The big end is the same size as the threads on the O2S. Clean the threads up good and then put in the new O2S
