Adjusting idle speed

I rebuilt the E2SE carb on my '83 2.6L Camaro, and it now runs beautifully, with better acceleration than in years. But, alas, it also idles at about 1500 rpm instead of the recommended 700 rpm. This idle speed is pretty much constant once it's hot. For the first couple minutes, it idles at about 750 rpm. All vacuum lines have been triple checked, and the fast cam is operating correctly. I know the idle mixture screw got moved a lot during the rebuild, and am looking for how to adjust that in conjunction with the idle speed screw to solve this problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
