Quick question.

I have a friend with an 86 jeep Cherokee with an LR2. I assume the LR2 used in the jeeps used a block designed to be longitudinally mounted meaning it can be replaced with any RWD 2.8, 3.1, or 3.4. is this correct?

EDIT:I found my answer, never mind.
