Possible Valve job???

Engine: Classified
Transmission: Auto with Overdrive
Possible Valve job???
Does anyone know what is involved in doing a valve job, the problem is I have smoke coming form under the car now and it seems to only be smoking from the rear of the Cat and it' has me thinking that if the problem is in the seal, would the cat need to be replaced as well?
