Porting Intake

Is there any benefit to port the V6 intake.

It doesnt hurt but the intakes are a much less concern then the heads. If you port the heads right you will feel the difference.

Here are some bench flow numbers from porting the intake. It made a difference in that it didnt fall on its face at 4500rpm. Since it didn't cost anything, I'd say it's worth doing. I do agree with fasteddi's comments about the heads though, they need some work as well. I did the heads later that year and noticed more of a difference.
