Radiator part. Is this a draincock?

Just as the title says. I have a rubber plug covering a hole in the bottom passenger side of my radiator on my 2.8l v6, and the other day the vehicle overheated and the rubber plug blew out into the road in a cloud of sweet tasting antifreeze vapor. Inside the radiator where the plug goes was this square two part plastic assembly, which according to a few other threads here was possibly a draincock. Before I rush into the nearest advance auto parts for a replacement, I was hoping to clarify.

Is this really a draincock, and if not, what is it, and what do I do to repair the plug spot? I spent 2 hours yesterday driving the usual 20 minute trip home while stopping every five minutes for more water from the creek.

Thanks in advance for help. Pictures following.

First one is an image of the lower transmission coolant line fitting hole on the right and the radiator hole in question on the left. The second is the part I believe is called a draincock. Not sure. Clarify please, and also, the smaller of the two pieces looks like some part of it was broken off. Ideas?

It's called a petcock. This listing says it fits but I'm not going to guarantee it. IDK if you can get one at a parts store. Best shot may be a radiator shop.

Honestly, neither one looks right to me. The seal looks right on the one you have but no threads. Bring what's left of yours to the store and make sure the threads are the same.

Looks pretty grungy inside the radiator, may want to consider a flush on your system as well. And get some antifreeze in there.
