Hi Guys,
can some tell me if I have a ECM that has been removed from a crashed car, where the airbag opened, if I put it into another car, will the airbag open again in case of another crash?
I know it would be better to clear the code but I have no tool for that, I just want to be sure if I can use it.
I'll need this for a really temporally solution for a trip, cause my ECM have just died.... And I had no better chance... I'll find anotherone, but it would get to me before I leave to the trip.
And you know I just want to know if I crash or something will the airbag work.
Thanks for any comments! ( I travel at friday night )

The ECM resets once it has lost power. If your airbag sensor is not damaged in any way then you should be fine.

The ECM has nothing to do with the airbag. So it won't have any affect on whether the bag will go off or not in a crash.
