88 2.8 Fuel problems, limited knowledge.

Hello! I have an 88 2.8 Camaro, and am having a serious issue with it.
Shortly after starting the car, once it warms up, smoke begins bellowing out from the hood, and there is a strong gas smell. No visible flames or source of smoke under hood. After checking out the car, there's about a quart of gasoline mixed into the oil.
I've been told by a local source, very knowledgeable about 3rd gens, that the car is definitely running rich.
What I don't know now, is how to diagnose or what parts to check or replace immediately. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if I'm not giving enough info, please ask for what you need to know.

You need someone who knows how to , to check both the fuel pressure regulator and the injectors , to see which (or both) are flooding the engine with excessive gas .

AND DON'T RUN IT AGAIN TILL YA DO !

Unless of course , your determined you want to buy a new engine , and maybe you'd like to meet a Firefighter or two along the way ?
