f1ze Injectors swap to original

Well I swapped to the ford f1ze injectors like 2 years ago. The car ran good but lacked power and had some acceleration hesitation problems but otherwise ran good...ran lean also being that these injectors are 13 lb. These are not a good upgrade unless you adjust your fuel pressure or compensate for the lower pressure. Well I swapped back to my og rochester 15 lb inj and i have a lot more torque and acceleration the mixture is just right. Only one problem when i go to start it, revs up to about 2k comes down to 1k and starts stumbling then revs up again and then down and stumbles again but then it stabilizes. Only does it when cold. Also when im at a red light and hit the gas there is like half a second delay . Let me know what u guys think. heres a link to the problem

Re: f1ze Injectors swap to original

If you disconnected the battery an idle learn needs to be done.

Of course it may be the OEM injectors that are an issue. By now the coils are likely shorting out.
