bad alternator?

bad alternator?
When i start my car up in the morning, the battery guage reads high 13s. As i drive it slowly drops down. It usually sticks just above 13, but sometimes itll drop below 13. The battery is new, i just got it a month ago. Does this mean my alternator is going bad? or could it be something else? thanks

Does it drop below, then jump back up. I bet you its the plug-in. The wires break off inside of it. Go to a Junk yard and get another plug in and try it.
