Critter chewed some wires and no start.

So something chewed a couple of wires and the engine won't turn over. Wires to the coolant level sensor and the sensor in the power steering line were severed. Would either of these cause the engine not to turn over?

Thanks. I thought not but hoped so I wouldn't have to get under it. Oh well.
