FAN Switch wiring question

Hi everybody,

I haven't been on the boards in a LONG time because there hasn't been anything interesting on them lately.

My question is, When you all wire up your manual fan switchs are you all just grounding the fan relay?

Any reported problems with the computer setting any codes?

Camaros rule!

Basicly yes.I just spliced a wire to the ground wire of the relay which is connected to a toggle then to a ground. All that does is fool the fan switch into thinking it needs to turn the fan on.
As far as the SES light/codes....no.I've had mine connected like this for about 2 years now and never once has it caused the SES light to flash.

I had a custom thermal switch made that I'm screwing into the 2nd hole next to the thermstat so it will automaticly come on at 195 F .
