Heater hose fitting thread size

I have a hard time removing the old heater hose connector in front of the intake of a buddys 92 3.1 V6. It broke into thousand pieces and I need to re-tap the thread after I have removed the damn thing. Does anyone know what thread size this ist for re-tapping?

It is this fitting: https://www.rockauto.com/de/moreinfo...1251829&jsn=18

It's pipe thread. Same fitting that GM used on trucks for years. 1/2 or 3/4 NPT probably.

Thank you, I ordered a set of drill bits for NPT threads. I hope I can get out the rest of this damn thing today...
