Need help 86 2.8 manual DEAD
Car was running decent, not great, choked and died leaving a stop like the alternator had gone but months later it still had power. Got it back home and when I tried to turn it over it wouldn't even kick the starter. I've read through the haynes manual and can't seem to find any reason for it. I'm assuming it's a fuel air ignition problem but I am completely stumped where to start on this thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check and make sure battery is fully charged. Make sure starter is good. Check all connections and fuses. See if you can turn it over manually.

Kinda confused about that statement,
but first thig to do is see if your battery has 12 volts
