2.8L to a 3.4L swap questions

ok guys how much you think this would cost, what can I keep and what do I take out and what do I need? ALso how long you think it takes? I think I can keep my tranny thought which is good and save me some hard money. My mom gots a 95 Camero with a 3.4L and moves great, you can squeel the tires real easy.
I also own a 92 CHevy S-10 with a 4.3L which can smoke most guys on the road, including most sport cars and stayed with a 98 Vette which ruled. You think that 4.3L engine would be a better swap considering you can find them pretty easy in junk yards. Thanks Men and the few ladies!

#1 It's CamAro.

#2 You didn't hang with a '98 Vette. I've driven plenty C5's and they're a tad quicker than a TBI 4.3.

#3 A 4.3 swap will mirror a V8 swap in cost.

#4 "How long will a 3.4 swap take?" I dunno, how fast do you work? Access to a lift? Cherry picker? Theoretically it could be done in 8 hours provided you have every part you need and you don't break anything.

#5 What do you need for a 3.4 swap? A 3.4. Not much else. See Karl's(KED85) swap article.

#6 How much will it cost? $800-$1500 approx. Depends on where you get the motor.......
