89 Pontiac firebird egr valve help
Hi I have an 89 firebird that has a vacuum leak on the egr valve. I’ve tried remove the bolts but there is no room to work with. Is there a certain way it’s supposed to be done? I’ve tried to see if there was any videos on how to do it but no luck

That one is better located than the TPI V8 which is under the plenum and can be tricky depending on how far you want to tear down the TPI.
Do you have any pics?
The V6 EGR is on the passenger side of the motor right? One bolt should be pretty easy to see in the front? So I'm guessing the back one is giving you trouble. Have you tried liquid wrench spray on the bolts? Also a ratcheting wrench with adjustable head may get you where you need on the back bolt. I wish I was more help but I haven't worked on a 2.8 in like 20 years.

try a crow's foot?
Space is limited despite the valve being pretty accessible due to the egrs round design and all the stuff in the general area .
