I just thought I'd tell all of you this. The intake only costed me 50 dollars w/out shipping. This guy from 60degree V6 told me it would be 285 just to bore the top out w/ the TB. Thank goodness I just bought the TB instead of the whole thing. Upper and lower ported on this one. I think I got a kick a@@ deal. Plus, know come summer time I will have the best(already do) and the fastest 3.1 out there. I just know it. Tell me your mods people (already bought or already installed no I'm gonna) and lets see if your any competition. No please!! This is all in good fun.

A little late, but I wen to the exhaust shop here, to ask about a y-pipe and installation for the headers and the guy told me it shouldn't be more than 500 for everything.

 

Now is a good time to have it powder coated or polish it or paint it...

 

Wait.. so you bought -just- the TB, upper middle and lower portions? Unported...

Smart man... do your porting and polishing yourself... I don't know about the 3.1 intake, but on the 2.8's, most of the work you're going to want to do is on the middle and lower pieces.. the upper TB are already pretty closely matched to the gaskets (the FelPro set anyway)... the middle and bottoms are horribly off...

I think I'll be able to beat you, but you have a nice sig. I will always say I'll beat any six fbody-thats just what I like to do. I'm saving up and waiting until I get my tax return for to buy 2 expensive, but effective other things(custom burned chip&Venon N20). But what I have listed above is what I have now. I cant wait to get a scanner or digital camera to put some pics on the board. It's just I keep on spending my money on my damn car!!!

its too bad we live so far apart. that would be an awsome race. i would like to get some of the mods you have like the under drive pulleys the chip and the msd 6a ignition box.
