Ew; P205/70r14? Yuck. That's an 8.2" wide, 25.48" tall tire. If you're going to change tires, why not buy ones that'll increase the car's handling (by being wider & a bit shorter)? What about a 215/60r14? It's a bit wider (8.6" wide, 24.32" tall), or there's a P225/60r14 available (9.0" wide, 24.80" tall).

'Course, a junkyard would probably let a set of 15" rims go cheaply...

Tom, they're better than my 195/75R14's... yes... ouch.

quing is a friend of mine... we go to the same school. I've been keeping my eyes out for him and if I remember correctly, Cosmo's (the local junkyard) wants 60 bucks a rim, regardless of size, shape, ect... I should really check up on that though, those guys are f'ing nuts there.

Tom, I hear ya on this weekend... my car needs alot of work... thank *** spring break is coming up. I have a plenum ready for reworking, and I STILL have not put my custom TB on yet... I need to get my exhaust redone before spring break though... hopefully sometime in the next week or two (I know I keep saying that, but I mean it this time!)... My hood and roof also need to be wetsanded and polished... my rubbing compound takes too long to take the oxidation out so I need to go one step further. I also need to do a better ob of getting my rear hatch to seal up... it still leaks a little water down into the car... power windows need adjusting... :sigh: such a list...

I would start now... but I have to work all dam day tomorrow... and Sunday I'm solving my small tire problem... I'm (hopefully) picking up a set of 1984 Z28 rims... if this guy pulls through for me... last weekend he called it off saying he was sick. Not a problem, I'm just really anxious to get the new rims and tires! I'm also going to do my brakes sometime this week... they're getting pretty bad... my dam rotors are warped...

Why the heck am I typing all this... you don't care... And it has nothing to do with his tires... 6 hours of sleep + 7 hours of school + 7 hours of work = one tired teenager...

I know what your talking about. The only 3 junk yards here that have 15in firebird/ta rims wants $68.50 a pop collector wheels my @ss!!!!

235 60 R14's like on my car are fairly nice but would probably throw your speedometer off a lil bit. But comparing 14's to 15's 15's are nice and improve handling but nothing like getting new 14in mild performance tires for $33 a piece

SSC, if you need a set of 15" firebird aluminum wheels, I have a set. $150 takes all 4.
